About Me

I started writing in 1974, wanting to give something to my kids in the event of an early death due to exposure to agent orange. The book did not sell, and I didn't write anything for almost 25 years. In 1990, I joined a Vietnam veterans group, and decided to try again, adding the stories these vets told me, fictionalizing my story. Along with writing 95 Bravo, I also wrote Requiem For a Vampire in 1999. Both books have been revised and 95 Bravo was renamed to Combat Boots dainty feet-Finding Love in Vietnam. Boots was rewritten in 2009 at the urging of my wife, Peggy, wanting me to make the book more female friendly. I took a one year hiatus, snd then began writing the rest of my books, finishing in 2023 with my firs YA and up novel, Robyn Hood. I am slowly working on my fifth Christmas City novel, Witches in the Christmas City.
